Every day, more than 370,000 first responders keep our communities safe. We know that more than half of all emergency responders are deeply impacted by the traumas they face in the course of their duties.
Money raised during the Fit4Duty will assist Fortem in expanding their current service offering to deliver vital services to our first responders who need it most, nationwide.

Monday 29th Apr Thank A First Responder DayHello whanau 👋♥️🙌
I will be participating in a 6 week challenge to raise funds for Fortem Australia. This challenge starts on the the 26th of May 2024.
Fortem is Australia's leading mental health and wellbeing support provider for first responders and their families.
On June 12th 2014, I experienced one of my most proudest moments when I swore an oath to serve my community & graduate as a Queensland Police Officer.
10 years on, life is very different after the significant decline of my Mental Health & the diagnosis of PTSD.
Fortem Australia was a shining light in the darkness I was feeling after being medically retired. They did alot to help me get back on track. I am forever grateful 🙏
I am reaching out to my community to help raise funding & support for our First Responders. My goal is to raise $1000.

What is Thank a First Responder Day?
Thank a First Responder Day is a day to show our gratitude and appreciation for the first responders in our community, for the work that they do to keep us safer.
12 June 2024 is Thank a First Responder Day, when we ask you to join us in saying two simple words to our first responders: Thank you.
